Medical Bills and Save Our Home

Friday May 30th Jeffrey L Shields passed away from stage 4 lung cancer he was a beautiful Father, Husband, and Friend. Monday June 2nd was his viewing where friends and family gathered and delivered a beautiful service and paid our respect's to such a beautiful man. During the service we shared stories on our remembrance; My father loved to fish, one day my dad and I went to Maine to go fishing, we took his favorite gear, one pole belonged to my grandfather that my dad had bought him in which it sat behind a closet door for 25 years. While on this pond, Dad and I gave it our best shot to catch something but it seemed to not be in our cards. Oddly enough wind began creating waves and Dad and I got capsized and the only thing saved was a cooler. Him and I laughed about how that one pole sat behind a closet door for so many years and now its sitting at a bottom of a pond for even longer. Thats the thing no matter how bad a situation was he always managed to find a laugh in it.
Another great story was about how giving my father was; My Uncle and my Dads brother one year hurt his arm and was in a sling for quite a while. With the introduction of a horse to my uncles family they needed a fence finished to contain it and well not an easy task for anyone, impossible one would say for an Uncle in a sling. So my uncle asked my Dad for some help and even after my Dad had been working he didn't complain, nor said maybe he got in his car and just went. My Dad worked so hard helping my Uncle finish that fence and well because that's the man my father was; a giving, loving, hard working man and no matter what he never had his shoes off, he was always ready to go and do something or help someone. I love you Dad and you will be missed beyond comprehension you were an amazing father may you rest in peace.
