Run for Rick

Dear friends and family of the Gale family,

Recently the Gale family was given some very difficult and sad news, Rick was diagnosed with cancer. A hardworking, kind and sweet man now going through the battle of his life.

A father to 9 children, a husband and a grandfather who is so deeply loved needs our support. With Rick being the main source of his family's income and now can no longer work, with high medication costs, expenses due to travelling to and from his treatments and appointments as well as bills continuing to pile up, the Gale's need our support!

As a close friend to Rick's daughter Haley who is the 3rd oldest out of the 9 children and knowing this beautiful family personally, they would do anything to help and give to others, so it's our turn now to help them!
This is why I have put together this GoFundMe page in addition to organizing a run in which myself and a good friend, Mary Greenaway, will be running from Arnprior to Renfrew on Saturday, November 14th to raise funds to support Rick and his family! With this being said, if you are able to make a pledge towards our run to support this sweet family, anything at all is so deeply appreciated!! All proceeds raised will go directly to the family to help them during this trying time.
This fundraiser will really help offset the cost of medical expenses, travel and bills for Rick Gale and his family. Thank you in advance for your support! Mary and I are ready to Run for Rick and fight back against cancer 1 km at a time!
