Philip's Journey to USAPL Raw Nationals

As many of you know(thanks to his 'strong' presence on social media), Phil has developed a love for powerlifting over the past few years. He started competing in powerlifting competitions last year after coming back from a serious wrist injury, which required two surgeries. He is passionate about his lifting (see videos of his warrior cry), and has worked so hard to get where he is. Phil has decided that he would love to compete in the 2014 USAPL Raw National Championships, but unfortunately, it is taking place in Denver, Colorado this year. Phil has previously been able to support this hobby with the money he makes coaching the 6am CrossFit Annandale classes, but this trip will require much more.

As a social worker and counselor, we cannot afford this trip on our own. We are asking for help from Phil's supporters who have seen his recovery from an injury, and passion to become a record breaking powerlifter.
