Nicolas Yanez Cancer Benefit Fund

My husband was diagnosed with head and neck cancer (squamous cell carcinoma) last September of 2013. He was already at stage 3 when we found out. In October he had surgery to remove the large mass besides his tonsils, adenoids and some of his lymph nodes. He then did the whole chemo radiation treatment only to find out in January that it didn't work!! So he has been still receiving treatment but the cancer has spread to carotid artery, right side of his spine and inter-weaved in all his neck muscles, plus a large mass on the inner right side of his neck. The chemo for right now is containing it and keeping it from spreading. We are currently receiving treatment from a doctor in Houston, Texas since the doctors here are really not giving us a lot of hope. He is still continuing to fight and doesn't want to give up!!
After now losing his business it has become so hard to pay for it all; medication, gas for drives to numerous doctors, home care supplies, feeding tube formula....ect. So this page is for anyone who wants to keep up to date with upcoming benefit events that anyone can attend or help out with! If anyone wants to donate prizes for raffles, or have an idea to host a benefit event please do not hesitate to get in contact, we can use all the help we can get!

If you have ideas of fundraising, items to raffle off, or where I can host benefit dinners all ideas are greatly welcomed!! I've never had to do anything like this before and trying to balance taking care of Nico, family and work it's more than exhausting.
