Jenise's Medical Fund

You are invited to participate in a fund raiser for Jenise Huffman during a time of medical need. Jenise is not one to ask for help and often puts the needs of others above herself. She has never met a stranger "“ and if she knows you, she also knows your family, where you are from and a short summary of your life history.
Jenise initiated a project at Tyson Foods to help bring protein to Rwandans. Jenise, through a corporate service fellowship with Millenium Promise, engaged other Tyson team members to learn about the agriculture practices in Africa and how to help. This effort resulted in an egg-laying operation in Rwanda which provides protein to the people there, especially children whose health and future were limited by the lack of nutrition in their diet. Her heart is still in Africa, but she has not been able to return to what she believes is her life's work.

She was injured eight years ago in a car accident when she stopped at a light and was struck from behind at high speed by a distracted driver, changing her life instantly and forever. She has endured much suffering as a result of the accident without complaint, but the insurance she has does not cover all of her treatments and hospital bills are stacking up.
