Did you attend Washington D.C. on a class field trip when you were younger?
If so, ... think about all the memories and relationships you made, the rich history you were exposed to and hopefully the lasting positive impact that was made on your educational journey from this experience.
We, at Berryhill School in Charlotte, North Carolina, want to provide that same opportunity to our 8th grade students, but that is where you come in.
The 8th graders are fundraising to attend an overnight field trip to our Nation's Capital for the very FIRST TIME! The majority of our students come from lower socio-economic backgrounds and this would be a once in a lifetime opportunity for them. Most families cannot afford to pay for their child to attend this trip so we are reaching out to the community for support. The 8th grade students would appreciate and be so grateful for any amount that could be donated towards this field trip. All funds raised will be allocated to scholarships for the students in need, to attend.
