Help my dad get a Kidney

My dad was a hard worker who worked up to three jobs at a time to support my family. Mom was in an accident shortly after we arrived in Florida and is unable to work. After working at the Postal Service for 26 years my dad was forced to retire early, due to his health problems. The reason my dads health is so bad is because he is a diabetic, which takes a huge toll on his body. Diabetes has affected his eyes, heart, blood pressure and kidneys. The total output of my dad's kidney function is only 15%. This and all of his other health problems, which only make things worse, have taken a huge hit on his finances. Thanks to modern medicine he is surviving through Dialysis treatments (9 hours per night), which helps get all the toxins out of his body and makes him feel better. Now we are at the point where he is awaiting approval for a kidney, FINGERS CROSSED we get one soon. Kidney transplants cost a ton of money, and even though we have excellent insurance the cost of after care is tremendous. His post-operative rejection medications for the rest of his life, the follow up appointment trips, out of town stays, and expenses for my mom to be there during this difficult time are not covered by insurance. My dad planned for retirement but was forced to exhaust all of his savings to support us while he applied for retirement disability. He needs help raising money so he can afford to cover the added expenses he will need during and after the kidney transplant.
