Eileen Slaughter's Memorial Fund

This fund is being set up to help my family lay our loving mother Eileen Slaughter to rest and pay off medical expenses. For all who know her, know how much of a serious, yet comical girl she was! If you wanted to laugh she would laugh with you. If you needed to cry, she would cry with you. If you needed an ear to listen or some amazing advice, she was the one.  My sister and I, experienced what will always be the worst pain in our lives on April 5th, 2016 when we sat by our mother’s bedside and watched her take her last breaths. On March 18th, we expected mom would come home after some antibiotic treatments for the flu, but this time her body wasn't strong enough to fight off the pneumonia and the flu combined. Our mom Eileen, has always had a history of medical problems and each breath she took was never an easy one. As her caretakers, my sister and myself always did what we could to give her anything she needed. In the past year we have fallen into hardship, physically, emotionally and financially. I lost my full-time job in February 16’, causing more stress and now with this being so unexpected we do not know where to turn. We are asking friends, family, strangers near and far to HELP us give our mother the service she rightfully deserves. This pain that we feel having lost our Mom is next to unexplainable yet, so relatable. She was the only one we had. So if you can relate and there is any amount of donation you could give to my family, it would be so greatly appreciated.
