Hi everyone.
I am raising funds to help me participate in a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Iam currently study Cert IV in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Care.
As part of my studies 10 ATSI students across QLD have the opportunity to attend a 10 day program in Hawaii. This visit will coincide with the International Health Day.
I am excited to announce that i am one of these students selected to attend.
We will visit Indigenous Health Services across Hawaii to learn about their Indigenous Health Issues and what programs they have implemented to help their people.
I am very passionate about my job as an Aboriginal Health Worker, Educating, implementing, supporting and advocting for my people.
I would take this opportunity to learn more about Indigenous Health on an International platform so that we may be able to adopt/adapt any successful programs.
I would not be able to do this on my own. I know I have a lot of wonderful family and friends and with your help we can make this dream a reality.
