Dads funeral

Donation protected
So this comes with a heavy heart my dad has lived a pretty decent life not great but not horrible. He was a marine just out of high school to help support his mom and his 5 sisters and 1 brother as times were hard then (1969) but a man at that time did what had to be done to take care of his family served in gitmo ( Guantanamo Bay Cuba ) for 3 of his 4 years was honorable discharged and sent back to the states where they spit on him let me say that again (THEY SPIT ON HIM ) for serving for his country and in the coming months he would meet my mom he worked in maintenance at higbees and she worked in the jewelry department  (he came to change the lightbulb)and it was love at first sight within a year they were married and having a baby my sister I came around about 4 years later we moved to California when I was like 3 and stayed till I was around 9 but he was a gold miner that's right you read that right a gold miner and did fairly well tbh and has done so for the past 35 years that place holds his heart but for the past 7 years he has been coming back home for 6 months out the year well last year 11/2019 he fell and broke his hip and laid on the river for 5 days till some found him and he was life flighted out to the hospital upon arrival at the hospital a full trauma unit examined him and he had a hip replacement now that being said he was home before Christmas that year so less then 6 weeks and he was on a train traveling from California to Cleveland and now on August 27 of 2020 I took him to the hospital because he was having trouble breathing and had a little fever (covid19) my thoughts well let me tell you I would give anything for it to Covid at this point so from the 27 - 30 he was in the hospital said he had a mass on his lung and lesions on his spine so we had the mass on his lungs  biopsy on the 15th of November and from there the surgeon said that he had lung cancer that had already spread to the lymph nodes in his lungs and already spread to both lungs and I asked him what does the lesions on his spine mean and he said he would set us up with an oncologist we want to see the oncologist and they said that he has it in his collarbone in his shoulder in his esophagus and his rib bones in his spine in his right hip and a femur this was all found out I'm the Pet Scan that he had done about two days before the biopsy the oncologist says we need to have a brain scan done before we can proceed with chemotherapy to make sure it has not metastasized to your brain in the meantime I'll set you up with radiation oncology and they can help get your pain under control little bit so we scheduled his radiation and we had his brain scan scheduled but they happened to overlap on the first day has radiation made him extremely sick and he missed his brain scan from there we scheduled the brain scan for about a week and a half later first available appointment but in the meantime he got a little sick and ended up back in the hospital again so they did the brain scan in the hospital it shows that has moved to the skull butn not the brain we were all happy that quickly went away we came home from the hospital this last time like October 20th we had an appointment with the oncologist the very next day so we went in to see him and he proceeded to tell Dad that he was too weak to pursue treatment and that the kindest thing they could do for him at this point would be to put him on hospice so that's where we're at now in hospice here in the house with me and we're just looking to prepare for inevitable for when he passes and why so why we have some money put away for that not quite enough I'm asking for whatever you can afford to spare from $1-$10,000 whatever you can spare will be greatly appreciated in our time of need and even if you can't donate can you please share the hell out of this we don't have much time to get these Arrangements done thank you
