My name is Dr. Ramona Brockett. I am a JD/PhD in the area of criminal justice. I have been targeted by a group of people including those in academe and law and they have caused me to have to file bankruptcy and lose everything I have including my home. The people who are after me have great economic and political power in these United States and the State of Maryland. I am not a liberal or a democrat or a tea party person and those who have targeted me have done so because of my political affiliations and social background. The people who have targeted me feel that I "do not know my place," in America. I believe I was targeted because I am a woman and a conservative. I have been forced to defend myself in federal court as I was accused of defaming someone and upon appeal, the court overturned, in part, the ruling. The Judge who we appealed to at the trial level, said in his oppinion that the plaintiff, who sued me for defamation, had no damages, nor was there any malice on my part. The Judge also stated the jury did not like me--which means thy ignored both the law and the facts of the case and were biased. Worst of all, the judge noted that the counsel, who were excused from defending me, should have called and deposed a party who would have provided an affirmative defense for me. Yet, none of my attorneys defended me and instead gave into the political pressure. Quite literally, the attorneys hid evidence and purposefully excluded witnesses for my defense. I am now at the Fourth Circuit level attempting to have this case finally overturned and remanded. I need funds for my defense. I NEED YOUR HELP TO CLEAR MY NAME AT THE FOURTH CIRCUIT LEVEL.
