Halo's Vet Bills
Hello everybody. On Friday July 10th, my boyfriend and i came home to our 9 month old puppy Halo having a seizure. We immediately raced her to the vet (i didn't even have shoes on, i just ran to the car.) Upon arrival, they immediately took her in and started her on IV and medication to stop the seizure. They continued to have to pump her stomach and keep her under observation. After the seizure was under control, they decided to give her a full check. They started with an XRAY & found foreign objects so we ordered a closer look. Today the results came back saying she has sever gastric ulcers and will now need 6 weeks of medicine and special foods for the rest of her life. After all the medicine, IV's, extra costs, food, specialist doctors, 24 hour care for the past 3 days (& counting) we are now looking at over $6000 and the bills are still coming. We are ready to sell one of our cars at this point. She is our baby and the sweetest girl in the world and we would be homeless for her. It's taking a lot for us to ask for help but even with selling our posessions, the bills arent fully covered.
