Johns Family Medical Expenses

This page is being set up for those who wish to assist the Johns family with their medical expenses. Starting in October of 2013, Cale Johns started losing his speech.  He was developing normally and speaking in sentences, then began slurring his words and ultimately losing his comprehensible language. He struggles to speak even single words, and all words are slurred.  There have been many months of consultations, tests, and therapy to try to find a reason.  Doctors have ruled out common causes and are still working hard to figure out a diagnosis.  Currently, Cale has no diagnosis and still needs further testing and continuous therapy.  Since Cale has no diagnosis, some of his medical bills are not being covered by insurance and Elizabeth and Gary are paying out of pocket.  On top of this, in March of this year, Elizabeth was diagnosed with Viral Meningitis.  Due to this, Elizabeth has been on short term disability since March and it is still unknown when she will be able to return to work.  This has put some of Cale's testing on hold for the time being and lowered their income.   The Johns family appreciates any help you can give, Thank you!
