On Tuesday May 5th my mom called me with news I never thought I would hear.
"Jess, dad has cancer."
In 1974 my dad had a blood transfusion from a terrible car wreck he was in which has now caused hepatitis C. It has now manifest itself and caused him to have cancer and liver disease. He has three tumors on his spine and one on his liver.
He has an infection in both legs which caused them to swell and turn hard as rocks.
They are more concerned about the liver disease. However he will undergo radiation and chemotherapy.
