Maddie and Jennifer's Mission Haiti Trip
Hello,
My name is Jennifer and my daughter's name is Madison. This year Madison and I have the wonderful opportunity to participate in our first mission trip to Haiti. There will be a team of us from Bellaire Baptist Church in Bossier City, LA partnering with Mission of Hope to serve people in need in Haiti.
This organization is doing incredible humanitarian work for the poor, orphaned, and widowed.
God is doing great things in Haiti. It is exciting to know that we can be a part of it. We will be flying from Shreveport, LA to Haiti on November 21 and returning on November 26. This will allow us almost a week to serve where needed. During the week we anticipate serving in several ways. We look forward to being a part of this and learning more. We will stay at a local site and get firsthand experience of the culture.
Our team will be meeting in preparation for this trip. As part of the training we will undergo to prepare for this experience, we will learn how to share the news of God's love and will be trained in servant hood, teamwork, and effective ministry. We are excited to learn more about Haiti and how God will use our gifts to serve Him.
We believe that God has called us to be part of this mission trip, and are inviting you to be part of this adventure with us. Our desire is to enlist people to be a part of our personal financial support team.
The trip cost is estimated at $3,000 for Madison and myself. We will pay this through our own contributions and through donations and fundraising. We are trusting that God will provide us with the money we need to participate in this mission trip, but we could use your help.
