Music college dreams

First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to read my story.  My name is Brielle and I am 18 years old.  I have been accepted to FAU (Florida Atlantic University) for fall of 2014 as a commercial music major.  To say I am thrilled would be an understatement. For as long as I can remember, my biggest passion in life has been music. I play guitar, piano, sing and also write (lyrics and instrumentals).  It is how I express myself and completes who I am as a person.  Music is most definitely what I want to do as a career.  My ultimate goal is to inspire and help others as I know firsthand the healing power of music.

Now comes the tough part.  I come from a single parent household (with no child support) and I do not have the means to pay the all the costs of attending college. It is extremely difficult for me to request help, but more bearable than the thought of losing the dream of attending college and becoming an educated musician.

Any type of support I receive will continue to push me forward throughout this journey and will not be forgotten.  I greatly appreciate any contribution that has been made thus far. Big or small, it means the world to me.  From the bottom of my heart, I thank you all.
