Family in need

Joe Lourenco has impacted so many of us in so many ways, anyone who knows him can say this! He is a friend, a neighbor, a brother, uncle, but most importantly a father and a husband. His most important role and the one he takes very seriously. Feburary 13th Joe went into the emergency room suffering from severe fatigue, not something he is used to. Within in a hour he was admitted with a concern regarding an internal bleed. Over a course of 4 days he and his wife discovered that Joe had been bleeding and his red cell count along with iron levels were critically low. Doctor ran tests only to discover a large 10 cm mass on the lower left lung following a discovery of a mass which was believed to be in the colon. Days following that after biopsies the discovery of colon cancer. He had a very complicated and dangerous but successful surgery Monday February 26. He spent multiple days in the hospital recovering. He met with his oncologist the other day to find out he is facing a 6 month regimen of treatment. Chemotherapy and radiation. Directly following his treatment he will face a serious and complicated surgery on his lung. The lower left lobe including the lining will have to be removed. During this time Joe has not been able to work and may not be able to return to work for some time. This has become his main worry and concern...How will his family survive this without any income? We ask you to please help this family in any way you can to allow Joe to focus on getting well.
