A College Savings Fund for Gabriel Rios

Hi, my name is Ray Hemstreet and our work family at John Hancock Retirement would like to establish a college savings fund for Gabriel Rios in loving memory of our dear friend and colleague, Marcos Rios.

We were all shocked and devastated to learn of Marcos’s tragic passing on the morning of Sunday, November 14th. Marcos had been married for two years and he leaves behind his wonderful wife, Lauren and his adorable, seven month old son, Gabriel.

Marcos had a huge heart and he was a genuinely kind person with a wonderfully positive and optimistic attitude towards life. He was loved and respected by everyone at John Hancock. I have known Marcos for nearly fifteen years and he had never been happier since marrying the love of his life, Lauren and welcoming their son, Gabriel, into the world earlier this year.
