Benny's Knee Surgery
Donation protected
Benny is a 6 year-old Boxer with CCL disease in both of his knees. CCL is cranial cruciate ligament. This means that the ligaments that acts as a stabilizer between the femur and the tibia are tearing and causing abnormal slipping of the two bones. This causes limping, stiffness, swelling, and not wanting to run or play. Benny, like many Boxers, has a TON of energy so it is very difficult to see him in pain like this. We are trying to fundraise to be able to perform TightRope CCL surgery on ONE knee. We wish we could afford both, but that just isn't possible. We want to at least make Benny's life easier by taking the strain off of ONE knee hoping that it will slow down the deterioration of the second knee as he gets older.
Benny has brought so much joy to our lives since we rescued him six years ago. We want to do everything we can to keep him happy and healthy.
