My Mothers passing

On January 23rd my Mother, Armi Sirkkala Barnes, passed away.

 For those that knew her, what im about to say is blatently obvious but for everyone who only know me, its simple she was a fighter.

 She lived her whole life fighting.
 She grew up in a little town in Lapland Finland in the freezing cold and faught through it all and found a life here in sunny CA.
She lost her daughter at birth, she almost lost me (but im a fighter too). Her kidnesys failed when she was in her 40s, she had heart surgy, glaucoma, her husband passed away but she continued to live an indipendent life and drive me crazy.

She was always one to talk, chat, pass her wisdom and on her best days she was the life of any party.

Her and I didnt awalys have the easist of connections and as my dad pointed out it was because we were too much alike, heard headed fighters who refused to back down.

She had a loving heart and a beautiful soul and that is something we can all cherish and i think we will all miss.
