Help the Spann family cover expenses!

As many of you know, it's been a very strenuous year for my daughter Catherine as her health hasn't been the greatest. Since October alone, she has gone through 6 major surgeries, all pertaining to her rare brain disease, IIH (Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension). IIH is a disease that affects only 1 in every 100,000 people. What happens is the body thinks there is a tumor in the brain, and to battle this 'tumor' the body will overproduce CSF or spinal fluid. This results in horrendous headaches, extreme vision loss as well as other unpleasant side affects. Unfortunately, this disease has left Catherine permanently disabled and legally blind.

I'm asking for help on Catherine's behalf as her latest surgeries (only 2 months apart on February 21st and as recently as April 22) have caused her husband, Lucas to take a lot of time off from work, and the bills are starting to pile up, not to mention, my beautiful granddaughter, Gwendolyn will be turning 1 on May 15th and Catherine is afraid that they won't be able to afford a party for her. I would go to the ends of the earth to help my baby girl in any way I can, so I thought creating this page would be a great place to start!
