Let's get Lonnie well!

You may not have heard.... Lonnie does a great job at lifiting spirits and keeping a smile on his face. At this time he is experiencing life altering diseases. He would never want his friends to worry, but we thought everyone in our community should be aware of the challenges he is facing each day.

Lonnie has lost his ability to walk and to be on his own. His kids are by his side, but as you know he has an extended family out there who want to get involved! As of 4/22 he will be admitted to the hospital to treat several diseases. His family will keep everyone updated on this site to his status and condition. 

The hope is to tackle this with a variety of treatments. He has a long road ahead of him but we are hoping to make it as easy as we can!  With his inability to work and ensuing care needs, we will need your help. 

Support can be provided in a variety of ways. Emotionally, nothing makes him happier than hearing and seeing you! He has lost over 60 pounds (hard to believe); clothing is helpful. We all know his beloved cats are at home missing him! Cat food helps. There are many little things that will make his road to recovery, a successful one.

It makes all the difference in the ability to provide Lonnie with the care he deserves.
