Shaving My Head to Support Emily

Emily Beazley is one of the most courageous children I know. On April 7, 2011, her life was forever changed when she was diagnosed with Stage III T-Cell Lymphoblastic Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, the most aggressive form of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. During her chemotherapy to battle this cancer Emily lost her hair. 
Sadly, this past March, Emily suffered a relapse and had to start intense chemotherapy again.  I told her if she ever lost her hair again I would shave my head to support her. Anyone who knows me knows I'm true to my word so this Sunday I will be shaving my head to show Emily she is not alone.
Emily will remain on chemotherapy until her cancer goes into remission, then she will need to undergo a stem cell transplant at Lurie's Children's Hospital.  During the transplant, she and a parent will remain at Lurie's for an unknown amount of time, averaging about 100 days.  
Your donation will help the Beazley family during these difficult times.  The money will be used for everyday expenses such as grocery shopping, supplies from Target, getting a lawn service, gas cards, or anything they may need to make life easier and free them up to focus on Emily's fight and recovery.  
Emily is courageously fighting her battle, and is determined to beat this once and for all.   With the support of family, friends, and the entire community, Emily will win this fight!
