I am Debra Guevara, a 2013 graduate of Parker University College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX. I reside in Plano, TX.
My campaign is to raise the needed funds to start Gentle Hands Chiropractic clinic. A clinic dedicated to wellness care where I can devote my time and skills not only to treating pain but helping my patients reach their full potential. I have a philosophy that taking time with my patients and treating them as unique individuals empowers them to be in control of their own health. I believe in a gentle, low force style of treatment using the Activator Method, Neuro Emotional Technique, and Quantum Neurology. The franchise I wish to invest in embraces the same philosophy that I practice and I believe that being supported and backed with like minded practitioners would enable me to grow my business quicker and smarter. If I am able to buy into this franchise at the inception I can get my franchise for $10,000 instead of $29,000.
I believe that your contribution today could impact other's lives for years to come. I truly believe that by starting my own clinic and helping people that suffer from neurological problems, problems dealing with nutrition, stress, physical limitations I could make a major difference not only in their lives but the lives of their family members as well. Once I am established I plan to give back to the community by taking 10-12 hours a month to offer my chiropractic services to a free clinic in my area. This is my dream and I hope that you will help me see it through.
I am in need of $35,000 dollars to get my practice started. These funds will be used to buy the franchise for $10,000, purchase a hydraulic chiropractic table and equipment for $6000, receive specialized training required for certification for $5000, Electronic Health Records software and Ipad for $3000, $11,000 for rent, insurance, and operating expenses. I realize that this is a large amount of money and I promise to put every penny to the best possible use. I will keep my office small and efficient to lower my overhead.
No donation is too small nor will it will go unappreciated regardless of the amount so feel free to send whatever you can afford.

If I do not raise the entire $ 35,000 then the funds I do raise will go towards opening Gentle Hands Chiropractic without the franchise affiliation because I will let nothing stop me until I am able to serve my community. I will open in my home if all else fails.
