Hey all! I am asking for help to make one of my dreams come true! I would like to put into print 200 copies of my first book, A Healthy Mind is Hard to Find. This is a 52 Page book of poems complete with illustrations. With these 200 copies, I will be submitting to several small bookstores, selling at farmers markets and submitting to multiple contests.
My costs would be as such:
$400 for the International Standard Book Number. This allows me to sell my books to any bookstore in the world.
$600 for the printing of the book it's self
$100 for shipping of the books
$150 for shipping to book stores
This book is the culmination of a several years of hard work on a labor of love. As an appreciation of your donation you will receive the following 4-8 weeks after the campaign is achieved:
$10 - Bookmark or Postcard of an illustration from the book
$15 - Both a Bookmark & Postcard of an illustration of the book
$20 - A printed copy of the book
$30 - A Printed copy of the book and both a Bookmark & Postcard of an illustration from the book $40 - A personalized 4 line poem, a Printed copy of the book and both a Bookmark or Postcard of an illustration of the book and cover art
$75 - A Tote bag with the cover art, a personalized 4 line poem, a Printed copy of the book and both a Bookmark or Postcard of an illustration from the book
$100 - A dedication in the book, a Tote bag with the cover art, a personalized 4 line poem, a printed copy of the book and both a Bookmark or Postcard of an illustration from the book.
Should the campaign exceed its goal amount I would then begin reinvesting those funds into my second book entitled "Fighting to Stay in Love", which has already been written and professionally edited. Thank you for any and all assistance you might be able to give to help me accomplish this dream of mine. Even if I don't sell many copies, or win a contest, just seeing my work printed will fill me with pride for beginning a work of love and following it through to the end.
