Patchinos Vet Surgery Bill

Patchino was diagnosed with a very, rare, condition called a "Prolapse Urethra" on his penis, April 4th, 2014.  Unfortunately, the medications precscribed by the Bahama NC Vet Clinic have not worked and the only other solution is surgery to remove the excess skin/tissue causing the problem at the tip.  The Vet we went to does not perform this kind of surgery and he was referred to "Vet Specialty Hospital" in Cary with 2 other locations in Durham and N. Raleigh.  The approximate costs for this kind of surgery, per them is $1200-$1800 plus a $134 initial exam and medications I presume.  The NC State Hosptial wanted $2000-$3000.

I'm pricing around but have yet to find a cheaper one that can do it sooner than later as this is not something we can put off for a long period.  The tissues around the area could die off and would cause even more damage and possibly an amputation or death.

Mike & I are in no position too take on such a big expense as we only have his income as I can not work due to health.  We are unable to apply for "Care Credit" as some have suggested due to past difficulties haunting us. 

As you can imagine, this is very embarrassing for us to do this but, we have no other choice.  If there is anything you can do too help our baby of 14mths, it would be so greatly appreciated!  I wish their was another solution to this but I'm told their is not.
