Logan's chance to walk!

My name is Jim Gibson. I am asking for your help to purchase two pieces of equipment for my son with special needs. Logan is 4 years old and has cerebral palsy (CP) resulting from him having two strokes in the womb. Logan has faced many obstacles in his 4 years of life but, he has made great strides and achieved more than the doctors ever thought that he would. The doctors were unsure if Logan would be able to suck on a bottle, chew & swallow, hold his head upright or even smile...each one of these things he has accomplished! We will always pray and never give up hope that our son will one day walk and even be able to talk to us. 
 
   The first thing we want to purchase is a (new to the United States) product called The Upsee made by Firefly. This mobility device is designed for children with motor impairments to stand and walk with the help of an adult. The Upsee is different that Logan's previous gait trainer in which he was required to take steps using his own strength. When using the Upsee, Logan will be standing and walking by being attached to an adult and stepping as they do. Our hope is this will train him to be more independent in the future with his gait trainer.

  The second thing we would like to purchase for Logan is the Go To Seat. This seat can easily be transported so Logan can be more active with the family in places that aren't specifically wheelchair friendly. Meaning, he would be able to sit in a grocery cart, a child's swing at the park, even a regular chair in a restaurant. 
 
  Originally, our goal was just to raise enough money to purchase The Upsee for Logan; however, we pledge that if additional funds are raised we will put those dollars toward the purchase of The Upsee to bless another child.
