Help Send Students to Debate Camp!

Extracurricular activities encourage the growth of high school students through the development of characteristics such as hard work and dedication. However, all of this comes at a cost, and one that many families cannot financially afford. We, The BestFit Foundation, seek to solve this problem. As an official 501(c)(3) non-profit run by students who have been fortunate enough to participate in Speech and Debate without any worries of expenses, we feel that every kid should have the same opportunities we have had these past few years. In these past 11 months we have made a considerable impact on our community, sending a number of debaters to tournaments such as Harvard, Princeton, and Emory, as well as partnering with The Salvation Army to help distribute over 150 pieces of formal clothing to those who cannot afford it. Everything that we have been able to do so far has only been possible due to the unconditional support of family, friends, and our community. This shared vision of helping high school students participate in what they are passionate about, worry free of cost is why we are calling upon your help once again. This summer, we are proud to announce our partnership with the Invicta Debate Institute, a well-renowned debate camp being held this summer in Ft. Lauderdale from July 14th to July 28th. Our partnership with Invicta is geared toward raising money to help debaters attend the summer camp. Every cent from this fundraiser will go towards helping low-income debaters attend Invicta to be able to not only participate in Speech and Debate but flourish in an activity they love, an opportunity that everyone ought to have. We believe a partnership with Invicta would be beneficial because their cost-efficient camp and generous financial aid program helps many low-income debaters attend debate camp every year.  While our project and vision only start with Invicta, we hope to help kids across the country be able to engage in all the extracurriculars they want free of financial restraint, and hope that you can help contribute with a donation to make that difference. We encourage you all to share this with your communities to help the less fortunate learn and compete in an activity we have been lucky to grow from; even a small donation makes a big difference.
