We are raising money to help support Ryan and his family while he is in recovery!
Since Ryan was small he has a had a shunt in is brain that regulates the cerebral spinal fluid (CSF.) In year passed he has had revisions (the last one being 10 years ago.) In the past month he has experienced abdominal pains. Three days ago he went to the ER. Was released with pain med's. He went back in and was admitted for Brain Surgery.
Currently doctors have found that he has 3 different bacteria's in his CSF. They removed his shunt and inserted an external shunt and started massive antibiotics. What looked like it would be a 1 week hospital stay now looks more like 3 weeks.
