Hi, my name is Denise Frederick and I have a form of Vasculitis called Wegener's Granulomatosis (GPA). This is listed as a rare diease and can attack virtually any site in the body. That is one reason I did not seek treatment right away all my symtoms where so far fetched, I thought the doctors would think I was for sure crazy with some of this odd stuff happening. I have eye, ear, sinus, lung, trachea, joints, nerves and kidney involement. over the last 3 years I have underwent numerous surgeries to fix issues caused by the WG. I was also diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2013 and underwent surgery for that. I see a great team of doctors but being out of work for 2 years has taken a financial toll on being able to pay for the medical treatment I need. I have a upcoming visit to Johns Hopkins to my main doctor, plus I have infusions that I need to start back on and I need another trachea dialation. These infusions are very expensive and nothing else has helped so far and I keep getting more sick. This money will only be used for medical purposes and I am willing to show reciepts at anytime. Just wanted to add a note July of 2014 I was also told I have Mysathenia Gravis which effects your muscles including your eyes I do not drive cause my sight is so bad but I was told I also have ocular hypertension. don't know how much more I can handle all these conditions have been proven with test and biopsies.
