I am reaching out to you today asking for your help...A massive wildfire has destroyed hundreds of homes in my 2nd hometown.. Valparaiso, Chile...Specifically El Cerro Merced..
They were forced to leave their home so abruptly because the fire spread so quickly...Nothing could be saved except themselves...
My extended family has been left devastated after this horrific event.. It destroyed their home and everything in it...
My Niece, Catalina, lived in this home with her Mother(Romy),her little sister(Arantza), her Grandparents( Mr.& Mrs.Castro),her aunt(Natalie) and her Uncle( Marcello)...
Their isnt much i can do being so far away... With your help..we can get them back on their feet...My brother will be flying out to Chile soon to help my niece and her family.
We have bought them clothing and other essential supplys but more is needed... They need to find a place to live...They need to start rebuilding their home...They need to start finding some peace and know that everything will get better...
After loosing all of their possesions and being left without a home...no one can imagine how broken their hearts and spirits must be...It would make them happy to know that our friends and family here in the states have extended a helping hand...
