Protect Our Theatre

Lismore Theatre Company is a not-for-profit Amateur Theatre Group that has for the last 43 years been committed to providing a warm, welcoming, inclusive place for members of the local community to be involved in all aspects of the theatre. We give members an opportunity to express themselves in the theatre through acting, directing, working backstage, in lighting and sound or writing for the theatre. We are located at the Rochdale Theatre.

Sadly, 2018 has seen some significant challenges for Lismore Theatre Company with three separate break-ins to the Rochdale Theatre in October and November.  A number of items were stolen and some damage was caused which is very disappointing for a community organisation run by volunteers.

There is a need to install effective security cameras, for which quotes of $3000 have been received.  This system will maintain the Rochdale Theatre as a secure and safe place for the community to use. As we are financially struggling to pay for such a security system we are asking the community for support, so that we can keep this thriving theatre alive. Any donations will be gratefully received.

Donations of $500 or over will receive 2 tickets to every LTC show for 2019 plus 2 drinks and snacks.

Donations of $250 or over will receive 2 tickets to 2 shows of their choice for 2019 plus 2 drinks of choice on arrival.

Donations of $100 or over will receive 2 tickets to a show of their choice for 2019.

Donations of $50 or over will receive a personal Thank you letter from the LTC President plus a free snack form front of house.
