Ocracoke Disaster Relief

This is my first gofundme, so bear with me. My name is Molly Baker and I currently live in Atlanta GA, although my heart and soul still reside in NC.

It’s no secret Hurricane Dorian hit the Bahamas and east coast hard, leaving absolute wreckage in its path. A little slice of heaven got hit especially hard, my home away from home, Ocracoke Island NC. For someone who’s grown up spending summers there, working there, living there, my heart is torn seeing the devastation of this hurricane aftermath. This disaster has undoubtedly destroyed my precious island, and left many people without homes, cars, and food/water. One thing for certain is that my people are strong, #ocracokestrong.  It takes a village, but it may take more than that to rebuild after this. Please help me help them, by donating to this cause very dear to my heart and the hearts of people I love.

Funds for this cause will be going towards the Outer Banks Community Foundation, specifically Ocracoke, where every ounce of money will provide food, water, and supplies to local residents and businesses. Or you can donate online to www.obxdisaster.org, and specify funding for Ocracoke!
