Help for Stephanie

Donation protected
On June 1, 2018 Stephanie was found unresponsive in her home by her husband, Jason.  She was taken by ambulance to the hospital in  Alaska.  She began having seizures and was taken to have a CAT scan where they discovered a possible mass in her brain.  She was flown by medivac from Alaska to Bellingham, Washington.  After spending the night in Bellingham, it was decided to transfer Stephanie, by ambulance, from Bellingham to the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle.

On June 4, Stephanie had an MRI scan,  They found a tumor on the right frontal part of the brain.  The doctor described the tumor as being the size of a "fist and a half."  On Tuesday, June 5th,  Stephanie went in for brain surgery to remove the parts of the brain that were affected by the tumor.

Stephanie did great during the surgery and came out strong.  However there is a long road of recovery in front of her and she could now use help and love from those who know her.  There are so many costs that come with such an unexpected medical emergency.  They had to get her off an island, transport her to Seattle, the expense of the surgery, and now recovery.  Jason and Stephanie will not be able to work while in Seattle.  There are travel and lodging expenses that must happen while they are here.  Stephanie will also need extensive rehab and therapy to get her back to where she needs to be.

Stephanie has such a love for life, for her husband, for her family, for her dog Scamp, and her friends.  We are praying for her and are so thankful for anyone who could help her during this time!
