Coleman was born with a killer disease. Cystic Fibrosis. His health deteriorated to the point he needed a lung transplant. Coleman and I moved to Houston, Texas to await a gift of donor lungs. Our residence is in Alabama. He recieved his transplant on March 16, 2002. We will continue his care every three months until Texas Childrens' Hospital releases him from their primary care. Then we will resume his care in Atlanta and will continue to see the Texas Dr.'s once every six months until they clear him for once a year to Texas.
