Dear Friends and Family,
I have been presented with a very exciting and rare opportunity. I recently qualified to compete at the Region 3 National Qualifying Gymnastics competition in Allen, Texas against stiff competition. At this competition, I won first place All Around and qualified for the Junior Olympic Level 10 National Competition in Jackson, Mississippi!
This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. To be able to go to this competition will provide exposure to NCAA colleges and help me realize my dream of obtaining a full-ride scholarship to a Division I school. The amount of growth and development I can acquire through this experience is immeasurable. At this competition, I will represent Region III, which consists of Oklahoma, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, and Wyoming. Our region will compete against seven other regions.
As most of you know, I practice six days a week, six hours a day in the gym to try to achieve my goal. However, because of broken bones last year, this is the first year I have ever come this far. That is where you, my friends and family, come in! Please help me fulfill my goal of participating in the Junior Olympic Level 10 National Competition! However... more importantly, please understand that your donation is used for travel expenses, *not so that my parents can buy me a brand new car!
Thank you for all of your support and encouragement at all of my competitions! I can't wait to bring back a gold medal and wonderful experiences to share with you.
