11th Grader Educational Trip to China

Lawrence Holman is an 11th grade student at the Valley Forge Academy with a GPA average of 3.9%. Mr. Holman was born and raised in Trenton, NJ living in Trenton Housing Authority Projects. He went to Trenton Public Schools up until 8th grade. Fall Semester 2013 he studied abroad in England at Duke of York Military Academy. Mr. Holman volunteers his time with High Hoops basketball team and summer program in the Donnelly Homes project. As a result of his community service in the city of Trenton he was awarded "Heroes Among Us" during halftime at the 76ers basketball game January 27, 2014.

Larry Holman has been invited by the Chaplain of his school to participate in a missionary and leadership seminar project. The project is held in China in Shenzhen and Beijing. In the past years this marvelous opportunity was offered to our Chinese Cadets only. This is an excellent experience for this young man. To help offset the cost of the trip and to make it possible we are asking for contributions. The funds for this trip is due by May 22, 2014. Point your children in the right direction when they are old they won't be lost.
