Help Me Go Back To Uganda!

As many of you may or may not already know, I have been given the incredible opportunity to serve again at an orphanage in Kampala, Uganda with my school Oaks Christian High School from June 9-25, 2014, this time as the student leader!
In June 2013, I traveled to Uganda with my school team on my very first mission trip, and little did I know, I would experience the most life-changing two weeks of my entire life. It was truly the greatest experience I've ever had, and the children and adults we worked with touched my heart in ways that words cannot even describe. Being in a third-world country was very eye-opening and has taught me to be grateful for everything God has blessed me with since we often take those things for granted. In the two weeks I was there, I created unforgettable bonds with the students, taught Sunday school lessons and helped out with AWANA, painted a classroom at the high school, learned about the culture of Uganda, and most importantly, grew in my relationship with God. I learned to truly trust Him during the trip and allowed Him to use me in ways to help and serve others. The precious kids in Uganda showed me the some of greatest love I have ever experienced. I think of and pray for them every single day. Working with children is something I am extremely passionate about, and I cannot wait to go back in June 2014 to see their beautiful, smiling faces once again. The adults we bonded with while at African Renewal University helped me strengthen my faith in God by encouraging me daily and reminding me of God's goodness. James 2:10 says, "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." I am very passionate about mission work and am a firm believer that God has purpose for each and every one of us. I want to obey His command to go out into the world and serve Him in every way possible, and returning to Uganda is one of the many ways I believe He wants me to serve.
Pastor Dongo in Kampala has responded to the many needs of needy and orphaned children in Uganda. With the support of many, he developed the school, a church and an orphanage all functioning within Buyamba, Inc. Poverty and the AIDS crisis has orphaned many children in Uganda and so the ministry of Pastor Dongo at God Cares School and Buyamba Orphanage have many needs. We have been invited to join him as he nurtures and loves those children through the giving of meals, education, AWANA (a weekly fun bible study geared for kids), vacation bible school, and recreation. Completion of the high school campus is in progress with many needs associated with the new building project. Our team will work alongside local Ugandans with whatever need is greatest when we arrive.
I am praying for people who will partner with me by praying for my trip and helping financially. I need to raise $2,750 to pay for all expenses related to the trip. It's not too late to help me out! I am posting this link to ask if you would please prayerfully consider supporting me for this mission trip to Uganda! I would greatly appreciate your help and support in returning to this wonderful place! This would mean the world to me!
