873gear Infrastructure Expansion

This fundraiser is to expand the RAM of the underlying baremetal server which supports the 873gear infrastructure. The 873gear infrastructure powers IRC873 and associated services and provides security for the data contained therein. The new RAM will need to match the existing RAM as this is an expansion, not a replacement. Therefore, I will be purchasing Hynix 8GB PC3 10600R DDR3 2RX4 ECC sticks. These are priced approximately $20-25 each which is why the fundraiser goal is more than the absolute minimum. The funds raised will only be used to support the Dell r720 server which is wholly privately owned by Jason Howard.
