Rifton Special Needs Bike for Jiovanni

Jiovanni is ten-years-old and suffers from cerebral palsy. In the summer, the average ten-year-old plays outside; Jiovanni cannot. But there is hope. A bike made for children with special needs would allow Jiovanni to play outside and simultaneously strengthen and develop necessary muscles in his legs. However, the bike is too expensive for his family.

A few months ago, Jiovanni's mother entered a contest to win this therapeutic bike. Unfortunately, we did not earn enough votes and the prize went to a different child. That will not stop us.

The Juarez Family and surrounding Pilsen community is determined to surprise Jiovanni with a Rifton Therapeutic Bike customized for his needs. I believe in the ability of our community to come together for a cause greater than ourselves; I have seen it done before. Please help us achieve our goal with a donation so that Jiovanni can enjoy the summer of 2014 outdoors.
