Help Us Save our Clotile

Clotile, our five year old rambunctious Blue Heeler, came to us a little over three years ago. Little did we know what an impact she would make on our lives. She followed me home from running one afternoon, and looked hungry. I gave her a leftover porkchop, and that was it! Shortly after Clo "adopted us", we found out she was pregnant. We brought her to our vet (Cole Delhomme) and expressed our concerns. However by that time, even though we were against keeping a dog, we were in love. We knew she had found us, and wanted to stay. That summer, she gave birth to 7 rowdy pups, who we all found homes for, and even kept one, (the troublemaker), Roxy.
Clo has had more than her fair share of issues. First she had a run in with our "visiting" cat, and lost sight in her right eye. After she gave us our 7 beautiful puppies we got her spayed, our vet then tells us that she has a rare bleeding disorder that prevents her blood from clotting. After that, we move some dirt around the yard and she slices her paw on some glass that was in the yard. Needless to say, our vet loved our business. :)
The reason we are asking for your help is because on Sunday April 6th our baby girl decided to chase after something in the yard and jump though our wireless fencing system. She then found her way into the road and was hit by oncoming traffic. After we found her we could tell that she was in so much pain. We brought her to the emergency animal clinic in Lafayette were they discovered after x-rays that her pelvis was broken in 3 places and her leg was dislocated. After hearing all of the options, we do not want to see her put down... so we talked to a orthopedic surgeon in Baton Rouge to see what we can do. She's still young and full of life and energy. After he looked at the x-rays we sounded very optimistic that our puppy would make a full recovery back to her normal running self. The only issue is that this surgery will cost us $4000. We need help. She is part of our family and I can not see her leaving us now.
