Stephanie's Homegoing

It is with mixed emotions that we are here today asking for a major outpouring of love. Stephanie is “winning” her battle against Stage 4 Lung Cancer that she was diagnosed with over 2 years ago. The doctors have said there was nothing else they could do, so they have turned her battle over to the Lord. God has spoken and has decided, and now she is faithfully resting at home with her husband, Ray; their 3 daughters, Stephy, Mary, and Ellen; and the rest of family. She is anticipating his call of her name any day now.
We can understand why God will need her more than we do here on earth because Stephanie is a true living testament to God’s word. He said he would heal her and he did for almost 12 months. During that time, Ray and Stephanie have continued their legacy through their continued faith and service at Higher Dimension Church; where both served on the Deacons Ministry. You couldn’t miss Stephanie’s contagious smile and melodic voice when she had the strength to sing as part of the church's Praise Team! She has fought the good fight, and will be victorious over this disease soon. Her entire journey with her diagnosis of and now through her victory over cancer have been nothing short of God’s plan for her life and that of her family. Stephanie worked for a number of years in the Katy Independent School system until she fell ill; where she was loved and admired by all she touched.
Once Stephanie has answered God’s calling over life, she will leave that beautiful legacy behind for her husband and 3 girls. We want to help the Weaver’s, especially Ray “Daddy” (as she so lovingly called him EVERYDAY), to live on without the constant pressure of how to move forward without being pulled backward due to any type of financial burden. We all either know personally or know someone that has been through this situation, and it can be a financial drain that then leads to a spiritual drain on a person/family. That was not the spirit that Stephanie lived every day. She gave to everyone that she thought she could help. No matter the size of her gift, she gave because she loved whole-heartedly people. She and Ray supported/are supporting their daughters to go to college, as well as, maintain the medical bills that are still coming in every day. Any gift will help them to continue to remember Stephanie the way she lived, and that is nothing short of the simple words… Beautiful, Faithful, and Unbothered!!!
2 Timothy 4:6-8
6 For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
