Delia's Funeral Expenses

On Saturday August 4, 2018 a tragic accident and an unexpected death occurred in our family. A wonderful soul full of life, love, and kindness  gained her wings and left this earth to become a beautiful angel.
She was an adventurous and up for anything kind of girl. Sweet and kind to anybody who knew her; a hardworking and determined young woman. She was attending college and working 2 jobs as she was preparing herself to one day become a registered nurse. 
On Friday July 27, 2018 Our 20 year old cousin Delia Torres left Texas on a road-trip vacation to California with her boyfriend and his family.  She was enjoying her trip and having the best time of her life. She made so many memories and visited so many wonderful places. Little did we know that she was leaving only to never ever return.  On the Saturday morning of August 4, 2018, after a long week vacation, the family was finally making their way back home to Texas in a Chevy pickup truck.  They drove Friday all night and when they made their way to Albuquerque, NM at around 8:30 am on Saturday the driver of the pickup truck struck an 18 wheeler that was stalled on the side of the road. Delia, unfortunately was sitting on the front passenger side and was killed instantly.  

Today our family mourns the loss of this beautiful life that was gone too soon. We are also left with the unexpected costs of her funeral. Our family is doing what we can to help her parents and sister as much as possible and to support them in this great time of need. Our goal at this moment is to help ease the pain for Delia's parents by raising enough funds to pay for the unexpected costs of her funeral.
