James 80's caribbean dream.

James C. Westbrook, a man who has been a teacher for over 50 years, is turning 80 this month!!!  To celebrate, he would like to take a two week vacation this summer: one week in New Orleans, since it is a place near and dear to his heart, and then one week on a cruise since we have not been on one together.  Although being a teacher is an incredibly rewarding profession for James, it does mean that we cannot afford such a vacation on our own.

I am 66 years old and have rheumatoid arthritis which I have had since childhood.  My medical situation has left me in a whelechair.  James is a wonderful caretaker - offering me plenty of love and patience and always being so mindful of my every need.  We have been married 38 years and used to love to travel when we could - but it has been a long time since we have been able to take a real holiday. 

This is why I am reaching out to this group.  I would love to make his dream come true and to give him such a well deserved trip after teaching for so many years and getting ready to turn 80.  We plan on using the money for a 7-day cruise to the Caribbean and to purchase plane tickets to New Orleans (from which our cruise would be departing).  Anyway, we thank you all in advance for your kindness and generosity!
