Kindness for Kim

In June 2013, James "Cheese" Beidelschies was diagnosed with stage 4 brain and lung cancer. His doctors began a rigorous treatment course beginning with radiation and then chemo.  Unfortunately, the cancer was too advanced for either of these methods to provide any relief.  

Both James and his wife, Kim, worked in the restaurant business at the time of his diagnosis.  Due to Cheese's condition he had to leave his job immediately leaving Kim as the sole financial provider for herself, Cheese and their son, Jaret. For the past 3 years Kim has been paying over $300/mo for health insurance only to discover it does not cover major medical thus leaving the entire financial burden on Kim.

On Monday, March 31, Cheese was taken into hospice for the last time.  Kim has taken temporary leave from her job to sit by her husbands side while he battles through this final stage.  Unfortunately, as a restaurant employee, she maxes out at 40 hours of paid leave and they only pay $4.91/hr before taxes which obviously doesn't amount to much.

The family has made it to this point without asking anyone for help with the exception of a ride here and there to get Cheese to and from treatment.  With medical expenses adding up, the impending cost of a funeral and no income coming in, the time has come where they truly do need help.    Any donations made will go towards medical expenses, bills and groceries to help get Kim and Jaret through these difficult times.
