George Ledesma (Battling Cancer)

Welcome Family & Friends,this page was made because many people have been offering to help support My Brother George Ledesma, Who has been battling Esophageal Cancer (stage 3) since February 2012.  George began having issues with,what Dr. Diagnosed to be, GERD in Sept.2011. He was later  rushed to the hospital, in February of 2012, for occlusion in his throat and air way. That hospitalization was when he was diagnosed with  stage 1 cancer in his esophagus. He was diagnosed at a small community hospital then later Transferred to UCI medical center where he would begin his fight against cancer. At UCI they found his cancer to be further advanced (stage3). He has over come so many obstacles threw out his fight. He has gone threw numerous rounds of Chemo Therapy, radiation, an esophagectomy (removal of his esophagus and portion of his stomach), and various hospitalizations. He has Been strong, Brave, and very positive threw out this whole journey. With alot of help and motivation from His wife Vanessa, 2 sons Anthoy and Jose, and Daughter Mia , He continued to live as close to a normal routine life as possible. He continued to work to support his family, He continued coaching his sons and daughter's baseball teams, and spent as much time as possible enjoying life. He has recently been told that they have run out of options to treat his cancer. He is no longer on treatments and is at home enjoying his family and friends. Any support to help with medical bills, necessities, and future expenses would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to everyone who has showed love,support, and prayers for George.
