Helping out a brother in blue

On June 5, 2018, Sergeant Lonnie Alexander was injured by an accidental fall at his home.  He sustained 13 fractured ribs, a punctured lung, concussion, hematoma and a fractured vertebrae.  He has been re-admitted since his release to the hospital 3 times for blood clots.  Sgt. Alexander has been out of work since his accident and he is relying on his wife Dolly to support and care for him.  Due to his injury he will be retiring soon.  Sgt. Alexander was an original advisor for HCSO’s Explorer Post 42 and helped kick off the Explorer Program in 2011, which is still going strong.  He was a great Advisor and mentor to young adults, some that now our police officers and serving in the military.  Please help out Sgt. Alexander and his wife Dolly if you are able to.  Our brother in blue really needs it.
