My 1st Mission Trip to Guatemala

I am extremely excited to have an opportunity serve God on a weeklong mission trip to Guatemala.  God has called on me to minister to orphan children with special needs including those HIV+. I have been teaching students with special needs for 13 years and I am excited to take my education and Christianity to the next level. I will be helping to teach english, teach the Word of God as well as other home building projects. You can go tohttp://www.lifesongfororphans.org/countries/guatemala/a>website for more information about this area. The Village of Hope, Lifesong Guatemala is about giving HOPE to orphans with special needs, by ministering and giving faith, family, and future to those much less fortunate, especially those with HIV/AIDS. Their goal is to create family units for the orphans in which they would live with local families instead of in an institution and would have life-long support and be taught Christian life values.  I have created this page to be able to raise enough money to attend this trip in June 21-28, 2014.
