Mental Health Service Trip To Ecuador

Hi everyone! As many of you know, I am currently pursuing my PhD in School Psychology at Mississippi State University. I was recently accepted into the Ecuador Professional Preparation Program, for a 10 day cultural immersion experience for mental health and educational practitioners in Quito, Ecuador! Through this program, I will have the opportunity to provide service in a school or clinical facility, while learning more about Latino culture, developing my Spanish speaking skills, and gain a knowledge of psychological and educational practices in Ecuador. Through this program I will be able to develop skills for my goal of serving various minority populations through school psychology in the U.S.
I am writing to you to ask for your support of this effort.
I hope to use my passion for education to contribute to this community by participating as a mental health practitioner and educational consultant. I also hope to gain organizational knowledge necessary to start a mission trip to Africa in the future.
