Can you spare a dollar for a smile

Donation protected
In June 2020, Cody was involved in a car accident that took his life.  Cody was a very generous and loving soul.  He always seemed to find the one person who needed a friend or a kind word.  Many times he would come home at the end of the day saying that he made a new friend.  I would always ask how do you know he was your friend.  And the response would be along the lines: "Well he allowed me to buy him a slurpee."

Cody was always giving to those who needed something; maybe his lunch to a hungry friend or his supper to a man walking by on the street.  It never mattered even if he was giving away his last dollar.

In memory of Cody, I would like to try a simple fundraiser to give  just like Cody would do.  The focus of this fundraiser is to just give a dollar or two and share the post - lets use the power of the internet to reach out.  Times are tough in the world right now but if we all can spare a dollar then we can bring happiness into somebody's life.

With the money raised we can buy ice cream on a hot day for kids at the local shelter or bring pizza to the family resource center.  Maybe a Christmas hamper for the salvation army.  Hot drinks for kids playing in the snow.  Anything that may bring a smile to someones face.
